How can
letting go
help us
heal?
We have good
and bad,
right and
wrong, happy
and sad, and
love and
hate to just
name a few.
When you
welcome both
sides of any
of these
pairs, as
opposed to
clinging to
one and
resisting
the other,
you find
that they
both
dissolve
leaving you
with the
empty space
that allows
for all
experiencing.
We call this
way of
releasing
Holistic
release.
It is up to
us to cast
off old
habits and
patterns in
our life and
to accept
healing and
change. It
is very
important
for everyone
to "think
positively".
Sometimes
people have
unreasonable
expectations
of the way
healing
takes place.
It does not
often bring
an instant
cure of any
condition,
so change is
emanate. It
is important
to
understand,
that
"healing" is
not always
the same as
"curing".
Once again
our mindset
(positive)
makes a
considerable
difference
in the
outcome of
what may
happen.
Illness is
usually a
message from
our body,
take notice;
something is
not right in
our lives.
Are we going
in the right
direction?
Do we need
to learn
something?
Forgive
someone?
Bring more
joy into our
lives?
Release old
memories?
Make a
healthy life
change? Love
ourselves
more? Ultimately
if we want
healing to
be permanent
we must take
responsibility
for healing
the cause...
Allowing you
to let go of
negative
thoughts and
attitudes.
New thought
can bring
about
greater
self-awareness
and your
capacity to
love
yourself and
others and
can connect
you with the
Divine. You
can
transform
your life in
many new
ways.
2. What are
Reiki
attunements
and why are
they
necessary in
Reiki?
Mike .A
The
Reiki
attunement
is a
powerful
healing and
spiritual
experience.
You may be
initiated
individually
or in a
group
setting
depending on
the courses
offered.
Reiki
attunements
open up the
energy path
ways so that
more life
force energy
can flow
through the
body. Some
people may
have
mystical
experiences,
healing,
visions,
colors and
body
sensations,
some feel
nothing at
all.
Attunements
may
increase
ones
psychic
ability.
Everyone's
Reiki
attunement
is unique.
Once attuned
to the
energy, you
can never
lose it;
it's with
you for
life. It
must be
understood
that each
person is at
different
places in
their
spiritual
path when
doing an
attunement
and will
receive from
the
attunement
what they
are capable
of receiving
at the time.
Many people,
because of
the
negativity
in their
lives,
stressful
living,
unhealthy
foods,
chemicals in
the
atmosphere,
have a
fairly low
energy
vibrational
level. They
may feel
little
during the
attunement
or Reiki
treatment
and will
have to work
to develop
their
awareness of
the healing
energy. The
Reiki
Attunement
raises our
vibrational
level within
the body to
that of the
energy added
during the
attunement.
However, our
bodies have
to adjust to
this higher
vibration
and some
people may
have a
temporary/mild
physical or
emotional
reaction and
go through a
cleansing
process.
Reiki is
very easy to
learn, it is
not a
knowledge
based
system. It
is taught by
someone who
has their
Master
Teacher
level. There
are 3 levels
that must be
taken in
sequence.
You usually
are provided
with a
manual for
each level,
an
attunement(s),
a
certificate,
instruction
and support.
You may take
Reiki either
distantly or
in-person.
The focus
should be on
working with
the healing
energy and
not on
attaining
levels.
Reiki
Courses are
taught in a
variety of
ways, prices
depending on
how a Reiki
Master has
been taught,
their
personal
beliefs.
Students
often report
significant
and profound
shifts in
awareness
and
understanding
during and
after a
course.
Reiki
healing is
also fast
becoming
accepted in
mainstream
healthcare
settings
such as
hospitals,
hospice,
operating
and recovery
rooms,
nursing
homes and
many other
institutions
helping to
demystify
its effects
and adding a
much needed
boost to the
spiritual
healing
of the
planet. I am
a big
advocate of
getting
Reiki into
hospitals.
It can speed
up the
healing
process and
bring great
comfort to
those
seeking aid.
Peace on
your Journey
Love and
Light
on your
Path,

A lot of us pay a lot of attention to what we eat. We count our calories, limit fatty foods, and reduce our intake of sugar and salt. And we make an effort to eat the not-so-good-for-us-foods in moderation. We may love French fries but we all know the consequences if that were all we ate for a week.
It's the same with our emotions. Just like the foods we eat, some are more nutritious than others.
Do you live on a regular diet of stressful emotions? Do you worry a lot or get down on yourself all the time or feel anxious about something every day? A steady diet made up of these kinds of emotions can be harmful to your mental and physical health as well as the overall quality of your life. We're not advocating repressing 'negative' emotions or never feeling sad or frustrated. But we do know that positive emotions, like appreciation, care and kindness, are more beneficial in the long run.
So, if you're ready to improve your emotional diet, here are a few tips:
-
Curb your intake of negative emotions. Next time you feel yourself feeling sad, mad or frustrated, take a deep breath and remember a positive or fun time in your life and attempt to re-experience it.
-
Don't wait until you're starving to grab a snack. Shift to a positive emotion any time, any place; not just when you feel stressed.
-
Stuff yourself on positive emotions. Celebrate all that you value and appreciate all that's good in your life every day.
Bon appétit!
